Solidarity House at Sundance

Admin • January 16, 2026

We’re excited to announce the debut of Solidarity House in Park City during Sundance, a joint initiative with Open Television, BLIS Collective, the Transgender Film Center, and The Center for Cultural Power, to create a space for artists, organizers, and media builders to gather and imagine solutions to one urgent question: What does independent media need to survive the next decade when the systems built to support it are disappearing? Through panels and participatory workshops, we’ll explore artist safety, sustainability, technology, funding models, narrative power, and creative labor.

We are kicking things off with Liberation Labs, a partner-led immersive expo for experimentation, exchange, and collective problem-solving. Be sure to stop by our Community Care Space, hosted in partnership with the Association of Mental Health Coordinators, for anyone feeling overwhelmed or unsure about how to navigate Sundance. Join us Friday, January 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for one-on-one consultations, guidance on mental health support for filmmakers, crews, and participants, or to learn more about working with mental health coordinators on your projects. We are here to listen and help.

If you’re heading to Sundance, check out the full schedule of programming and join us at Distrikt F in the Iron Horse District from January 23-25.
