BGDM on Tour: True/False 2026
Edwin Flores • February 24, 2026
Brown Girls Doc Mafia is heading to True/False Film Fest!
True/False 2026 marks the first stop of BGDM on Tour, our new approach to taking Industry Access Programming on the road and showing up for members directly within festival spaces, with support from the Harnisch Foundation. If you’re attending the festival, this is your guide to where we’ll gather, learn, and celebrate together.
This year, 22 projects screening at True/False were worked on by BGDM members, underscoring how deeply our community is woven into the nonfiction field. From world premieres to U.S. and North American debuts, Mafiosxs are represented across the lineup.
Below is a snapshot of the BGDM events at True/False 2026, along with member projects screening at the festival. Whether this is your first True/False or you’re returning, we hope you’ll join us and be part of the very first stop of BGDM on Tour.
