BGDM Member Films at BlackStar 2025

We’re heading to Philadelphia for the 14th annual BlackStar Film Festival, a one-of-a-kind celebration of Black, Brown, and Indigenous filmmakers pushing the boundaries of genre, form, and imagination. This is more than a festival, it’s a movement rooted in joy, liberation, and the power of our stories.

As a Black-led space rooted in liberation, BlackStar brings together artists and audiences to connect, reflect, and celebrate work that is often overlooked or misunderstood. We’re thrilled to see so many BGDM member films included in this year’s lineup!
