Nyasha Laing

Nyasha Laing is a director, producer and impact strategist who brings experience as an international lawyer and cultural practitioner into her work to drive inclusion and transformation through storytelling. She's a founding partner of Red Owl, where she works with award-winning filmmakers, public broadcasters, and social justice partners. Her independent films have been featured in the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Indie Memphis, the Pan-African Film Festival, BBC World Service, and museums and festivals around the world. Nyasha is a graduate of Yale University and NYU School of Law. She calls New York, Kingston, and Belize home.
