Biography

Sharika is a Brooklyn-based editor from India with over seven years of experience in documentaries, branded content, and commercials. She holds a Master’s degree in Television, Radio, and Film from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Drawing inspiration from her experience living in the UK, China, and the UAE, Sharika brings an international perspective to her work.

Her first foray into non-fiction content was as an assistant editor on the New York Emmy-nominated docu-series 1440: NEW YORK LIBERTY. It resulted in a diverse range of opportunities as an editor, including; the documentary short FOR FLINT (Tribeca 2017), I’M DOING MY JOB (Portland 2022), and 40 DAYS: JOSHUA VS RUIZ JR, a three-part docu-series for DAZN, executive produced by Meek Mill and Roc Nation which led to a special “About” episode narrated by Benjamin Bratt.

A true collaborator, Sharika loves working with other filmmakers to piece together a compelling story.
