Poh Si Teng

Poh Si Teng is the producer of the Academy Award nominated documentary St. Louis Superman. She is the senior commissioning producer overseeing the Americas for Witness, Al Jazeera English’s flagship observational documentary strand.
Poh commissioned and produced Dead Woman’s Pass (which qualified for the 2021 BAFTA and won Best Short Documentary at the London International Documentary Film Festival, Special Jury Award at the Palm Springs Shortfest and the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival), In Enemy Territory, Venezuela: Smuggling Dreams (which was nominated for a Rory Peck Award and a Foreign Press Association Award), HALIMA, A Cold War Family Reunion, Children of the FARC and Deportees Welcome.
She is also a former journalist for The New York Times, where she received an Emmy nomination, an NPPA Award, and a SPJ Deadline award for her documentary, Flirting With the Islamic State.
