Isela Ashburn Quijas

Isela is a freelance remote motion graphics designer with a background in filmmaking. She often teams up with her creative partner (who's also her husband) on various projects.

Isela was born in Guadalajara, Mexico but raised in the low socio-economic communities of Southern California. In college, she spearheaded a visual documentary research project that aimed to change the way individuals in the “ghettos” were perceived. While the visual documentary project grew limbs and won various academic awards, it never walked outside of academic walls. Its development was cut short by various unforeseen circumstances that ultimately served to catapult Isela into motion graphics.
