Biography

Cydney Tucker is an Emmy-nominated journalist and documentary director currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She has written, produced, and directed films for a variety of legacy and digital media organizations including CBS News, NBC News, Al Jazeera International, RYOT, The New York Times, and ABC News.

Her latest projects include two feature-length films for The New York Times Presents' Hulu/FX documentary series, and a Sundance and IDA-supported short film entitled House of Tulip. Her work has been screened in several film festivals across the country including SXSW, New Orleans Film Festival, and The Atlanta Film Festival.

Cydney's currently in development on her next independent feature film, Les Creuseurs (The Diggers).
