Biography
Mariam Abazeri is a documentary producer and environmental and visual anthropologist. She co-produced the feature film 'Women of the Sun: A Chronology of Seeing' that premiered at HotDocs and played at various international festivals. She is currently an Associate Director of the Society for Visual Anthropology Film and Media Festival and holds a doctorate in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Miami.
