Biography
Carrie Lozano is an award winning documentary filmmaker and journalist. She is currently director of the International Documentary Association's Enterprise
Documentary Fund and is a lecturer at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, where she works with students studying documentary film and investigative reporting. She was formerly an executive and senior producer at Al Jazeera America, has served on the steering committee of New Day Films, and is currently on the board of Kartemquin films. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
