Biography

Ayana Enomoto-Hurst⠀is a London-based filmmaker who recently completed a master's degree in Research Architecture at Goldsmiths University. Before coming to London, she worked as a producer in the independent documentary film scene of New York City at Rada Studio. In her time at Rada, she was the associate producer on the feature-length documentary Stateless which held its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in 2020 and the upcoming feature documentary Going to Mars. She has produced a number of short films, including A Mother’s Dream, commissioned by TEDTalks, and The Changing Same, whose VR counterpart premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. She has also played key roles in the edit room, most notably in the production of the New York Times’ Op-Doc Series, Conversations on Race, which won the 2016 Online Journalism Award for Best Online Commentary. Alongside film production, she has been instrumental in several outreach campaigns, notably the _American Promise _Campaign, which won the PUMA BritDoc Impact Award and College Board’s _All In _Campaign.
