Biography
Amanda Jones is a Los Angeles based film composer whose music credits include the original score for Ava DuVernay’s anthology series,_ Cherish the Day_ for OWN, Lena Waithe’s scripted series _Twenties _for BET, Robin Thede and Issa Rae’s A Black Lady Sketch Show for HBO, the original main title theme for Tim & Eric’s new series Beef House for Adult Swim, Trolls 2: World Tour McDonalds Commercial, Nike’s Summer 2019 Campaign_ Sports Changes Everything_, and the Oscar nominated film _St. Louis Superman_.
Amanda received her BA in music from Vassar College studying music composition, production and classical guitar under Terry Champlin. She received certificates in film scoring and orchestration from the Berklee College of Music.
Amanda also performs as the singer and guitarist of the Los Angeles based indie rock band, The Anti-Job. Their music has received airplay on a variety of radio stations including, BBC Radio and NPR.
